I'm a therapist, but also a dog mom, cat mom and a yogi. When I'm not in the office I love to practice yoga, go hiking with my pups (see below), listen to podcasts or read a book. In our therapy sessions you can expect to laugh, see a dog or two and get help from a counselor who is down to earth and will call you on your bull shit (in a compassionate way of course!)

Experience

Clinical Training and Education

I first began my work with trauma in college, where I served as an Advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking at my University's Crisis Response Center. I then went on to continue working at the office post-graduation as an Advocate. While working there, I served as a Crisis Counselor on RAINN's national chatline for these same populations, as well as those experiencing child abuse. From there I gained experience working with dual diagnosis in both the IOP and PHP setting before making my way to a group private practice where I specialized in trauma therapy.
