Trauma-Informed Yoga and Mindfulness

Your heart is pounding and you have no idea why. You struggle to sleep at night because of the thoughts racing through your mind. Sound familiar? Through one on one coaching or group classes you will learn powerful coping skills that help to put you in back in control of your nervous system and empower you to feel safe in your body.

What Is Mindfulness?

The Art of Paying Attention on Purpose

Mindfulness is the practice of consciously focusing your attention (typically on your breathing, body or surroundings) without judgement or attachment. Easier said then done right?! Thankfully mindfulness is a practice and like anything else the more we do it the easier it gets.

Continued research into the effects of trauma and stress indicate the benefits of using mindfulness and yoga to cope with symptoms of anxiety, stress and trauma.
